Remco is a touring guitar technician, as well as a luthier, and produces his custom guitars from his workshop in Brisbane. He has some very unique ideas and approaches to guitar building.

“It’s not all just about the wood” says Remco. “There is no such thing as tonewood.  Everything that resonates has tone!”

It is this philosophy that has been behind Remco’s experimentation with guitar design, building techniques and materials for the past fifteen years, the results of which are seen in many of his custom built Mayer Guitars.
