[] Guitar Heroes Guitar Fest - Dates Announced !

The dates have been announced for the eagerly awaited Guitar Heroes: Guitar Fest to be staged in the heart of musical culture, Balmain, ten minutes from the Sydney Central Business District.

Celebrating the Guitarist and the Guitar, the guitar - based event will take place at selected Balmain venues from Thursday Sept. 28 th to Sunday Oct. 1 st .

Being all cross genre, the Guitar Fest is featuring a wide range of genres. Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Country and Classical are all part of the mix, with more coming on board, as the event moves towards the staging dates.

Guitarists featured will be from the classic and contemporary directions with a couple of international surprises in the grand guitar plan.

The organizers are busy formulating the schedule for the Guitar Heroes: Guitar Fest Expo set down for Friday Sept. 29 th and Saturday Sept. 30 th in the Auditorium at Balmain Tigers, opposite the Bridge Hotel on Victoria Road.

Endorsed Guitarists and other Music Industry Professionals are conducting workshops and clinics during the two days of the Expo. The workshops and clinics will cover a wide range of subjects, all related to guitar and performance.

Young Guitar Guns and Gunnettes will be catered for with workshops and clinics, as they are the players of the future taking guitar - based music forward.

A highlight of the Guitar Heroes: Guitar Fest Expo will be the grand finale Expo Showcase on the Saturday night at 6 PM. Endorsed high profile guitarists are to take part in this exciting, energetic wind up to the two day expo.

The inaugural Guitar Heroes: Guitar Fest, is proudly sponsored by Australian Guitar Magazine. Australian Guitar Magazine plans to have a profiled presence at the Expo, so don't forget to call in and say good day to the staff.
