[] Guitar Heroes on the Road

Steve Flack, in conjunction with Full House Records, is having great success with his Guitar Heroes CD since it was unleashed at The Basement in Sydney, earlier this year. His brilliantly diverse album of classics from Blues Rock guitar heroes, played by Australian guitar heroes, is being supported by a series of live shows that feature some of our top performers.

A second Sydney event at the Brass Monkey on Saturday 1 st October, will see Steve Flack performing with another stellar lineup. On the bill is Ian Miller, long time performer with John Paul Young, a brilliant session play who has worked with Darryl Braithwaite, Stevie Wright, Jon English, John Farnham, Flash and the Pan, Doug Parkinson, Ted Mulry and many more. Also performing on the 1 st October is the legendary Randall Waller, who has just returned from the US after many years playing with Shania Twain. Originally in the hit band Avion, Randall has recently toured with Keith Urban and Rodney Crowell as well.

From Sydney to Melbourne, the Guitar Heroes show will launch into the southern State on Thursday 6 th October at the Esplanade Hotel, St Kilda.

The featured artists accompanying Steve Flack, will be the inimitable Phil Emmanuel, tasty Dai Pritchard (Billy Thorpe Band), incredible 'young gun' Brett Wood (Radiodogs), and Phil Manning (Chain), who's versatility and skill is quite amazing to witness. These great players will be backed by Steve's band which includes Michael Smith (The Drum Media), and Mal Green (Split Enz drummer).

The brilliant Guitar Heroes evening will be opened by the equally brilliant Jimi Hocking - just back from overseas!! This guy, having just won the prestigious 'International Blues Challenge' in Memphis USA, making him Official Unsigned Blues Artist of the Year in the USA, is receiving airplay worldwide.it will be a great chance to see him live. Equally at home playing electric blues in his band, or as an acoustic soloist, Jimi plays a flashy style of guitar and may pull out some classic stunts. behind the head. the duck walk. even the splits!

With this lineup, Steve Flack and Full House Records have put to together an evening that will live long in the memories of all who attend.

The concept that is saluted by these travelling live shows, which was suggested to Steve Flack by Jim Guider in one quiet conversation over a year ago, is encapsulated in the Guitar Heroes album. In making this record, Steve Flack sourced and then had the pleasure of performing with, some of his absolute favorite blues, rock, classical and jazz players. The record delivers a collection of exciting collaborations of musical genius, featuring songs with Ian Moss (Cold Chisel), Pete Wells (Rose Tattoo), Chris Bailey (The Angels, GANGgajang, Jimmy Little's band), Gordon Rytmeister, Ron Philpott, Ray Beadle and more! The CD is available through the Full House Records website ( www.fullhouserecords.net ), as well as at live shows.
